Mary recently visited some of the work The Prince's Trust is doing in her constituency.

They are currently running a Get Into Contact Centres course with North East Contact Centre Academy based in the Cobalt Business Park. This course gives unemployed young people aged 16 – 25 the opportunity to participate in a four week, full time course aimed at providing them with the skills needed to move into work in the contact centre sector, and also provides them with a Level 2 City and Guilds Qualification in Sales.

The course finished on Friday 30th March and Mary went along to thank The Prince's Trust and to present the certificates to the young people who had successfully completed the course. She said "the professionalism and enthusiasm shown by these young people in their presentation was very impressive. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to gain a qualification which will, no doubt, give them confidence and help them improve their employability".
